The company had its first annual Holiday party at Turf Valley Country Club, and the consensus is that it was a huge success.
After an excellent dinner, President and CEO, Eric Bennett, presented each employee with a holiday gift while giving a personalized speech about each employee's contributions to the company during 2006. This personal touch is what Pyxis Engineering hopes will separate them from other contractors in the area. "The company is the employees, and we want to reward them and show our appreciation", Mr. Bennett said. Each employee received an iPod Nano and a profit sharing check, while their spouse or significant other also received an AMEX gift card. It was a great ending to an amazing 1st year at Pyxis Engineering.
